Most of all, thank you to our sponsors, donors and attendees, without you none of this would have been successful.  We appreciate your continued support.  Believe me when I say that next year, it will be a challenge to surpass this event, but we accept!

Light of the World Charities to partner up with Martin County Health Department and Florida Community Health Centers!

You heard right! We are forming a coalition with Martin County Health Department (MCHD) and Florida Community Health Centers (FCHC) to bring the best care to local children. LOTWC is currently seeing pediatric patients that qualify and with this partnership we intend to give even more children the care that they deserve!

It’s hard to believe that an area as blessed as ours has this problem, but I assure you, the need is overwhelming. Children are struggling to get dental care that they need in our community. This directly effects their overall behavior and education. Long term effects could be crippling to both the children and the economy.

There is a lot more information to come so keep checking back!

Pediatric Dental Clinic Day 1!

Today our Dental Clinic has expanded to help pediatrics! We started our first case with 10 year old Eulalia Andres-Lopez who left smiling.  Which brought us to our next idea.  How about a slogan, “Helping Kids Smile Again.”  What do you think? Regardless, I took the opportunity to snap a few photo’s (with consent of course).
